Climate and Dress Code

In May/June the average temperature in Prague is approx. 22 °C. The dress code will be informal throughout the Meeting.

Cloakroom

There is a supervised cloakroom located in the main entrance area.

Currency

The national currency in Prague is Czech Crown (CZK). The registration fees have to be paid in EURO (€). 1 EURO (€) = 25,55 CZK / 1 USD ($) = 19,76 CZK (stand: 19.03.13)

Electricity

Voltage: 230/400/415V AC, 50 Hz (50 cycles)

Czech sockets for 230V/16A are not compatible with the Schuko (basic European sockets). Adapters (for 1 phase up to 16A) are required. For other types of plugs (other than basic European), please make sure to bring adapters because these will not be available on-site. For equipment from USA or elsewhere with 110/120V, a transformer is required to be able to connect to 230V.

Internet

There are Internet stations available for the delegates in the Exhibition area.

Programme Changes

The Organisers cannot assume liability for any changes in the programme due to external unforeseen circumstances.

Public Transport

For your travel within Prague during the congress you will receive a ticket for the public transport at the registration desk in the Prague Congress Centre.

The airport bus is not included in the ticket for the public transportation. It is an extra paid service (paid in CZK directly to a driver). The cost is 60 CZK = apx. 2,50 EUR (depending on daily exchange rate).

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not allowed at the venue; the meeting is a non-smoking event.

Telephone

The international access code for the Czech Republic is + 420. The outgoing code is 00 followed by the relevant country code (e. g. 0044 for the United Kingdom).

Local emergency telephone numbers are 112 and 156 for the police (City of Prague).
